Campbelltown Arts Centre has partnered with Sydney-based online arts platform Running Dog to commission five written pieces that respond to the themes of the BLEED lead projects. As independent creative investigations into the rich conceptual ideas behind the artist works, these Echo responses bring new perspectives to the BLEED primary program.

Writer, editor and producer Sheila Ngoc Pham will write a research essay exploring the themes of James Nguyen and Victoria Pham’s RE:SOUNDING.

Running Dog

Running Dog is an online arts platform based in Sydney that pushes experimentation, playfulness and rigour in contemporary arts writing. Running Dog seeks to privilege nuance and contemplation in debate and is committed to covering the work of emerging and established artists through circulating regular content about artist run spaces, collectives, commercial galleries, institutions, one-off events and festivals.

Sheila Ngoc Pham

Sheila Ngoc Pham is a writer, editor and producer working in radio, print, online and film. She has written for a wide range of literary and mainstream publications with recent work in the Griffith Review, Sydney Review of Books, Meanjin and The New York Times, as well as publications by the State Library of NSW and Museum of Contemporary Art. She has held digital and editorial roles at the ABC and continues to produce documentaries and stories for ABC Radio National, most recently Tongue Tied and Fluent, a five-part series exploring multilingualism in Australia.
