BLEED Overview

Biennial Live Event in the Everyday Digital

Hi. Welcome to BLEED, a new festival from Arts House and Campbelltown Arts Centre that took place from June 22 to August 30, 2020. Our everyday is saturated with digital, and so we ask: how does online feel?

This is your space to watch/listen/read/think your way through the strangeness of an IRL and URL existence. You can continue to explore the works or the things you missed along the way.

Visit BLEED 2024 and revisit BLEED 2022.

Becoming The Icon

Becoming the Icon is a film in which the language of power manifests in familiar yet uncanny ways. Echoing the rhythms of political speech and gesture, artists Lilian Steiner and Emile Zile reveal the ways in which truth and conviction are more than abstract concepts, instead finding surprising roots in our embodied experience.
