Lilian Steiner

Lilian Steiner is a Melbourne-based dancer and choreographer whose practice utilises the inherent intelligence of the body to speak with a unique vigour to the politics of our current time. She has presented her work within various contexts within Australia and internationally. Her work Noise Quartet Meditation received the 2015 Green Room Award for Concept and Realisation. As a dancer Lilian has worked extensively with companies Lucy Guerin Inc. and Phillip Adams’ Balletlab and independents Melanie Lane and Shelley Lasica amongst others. Lilian received the 2017 and 2018 Green Room Awards for Female Dancer and the 2017 Helpmann Award.
